Education
Students from a lower socio-economic background end up going to schools with poor facilities and lack the capacity to engage them adequately in the learning process. This creates inequality in a situation where the same students are expected to compete for white collar jobs with students from stellar schools.We realized the need for young people to be at the forefront of innovation. We will be trying to tackle the problem of poor education outcomes that are as a result of inadequate infrastructure and programming.
This involves the lack of mentorship, practical internships for graduates and the failure to innovate within the education system in a bid to keep up with growing industrial and technological needs. Through the SAYDS program we took a closer look at our school system and identified areas of improvement and better acting points that would be more effective.
